SCBC is theologically and philosophically aligned with the CCEF model of care, and is committed to offering counseling services and resources that are Christ-centered, gospel-focused, and clinically-informed.

SCBC provides counseling services to individuals in our local community and throughout Northeast Georgia, in addition to group counseling, resources, and providing training designed to strengthen the local church in its ability to disciple holistically.

Each Fall and Spring, we offer a variety of Redemption Groups that focus on a rotating series of issues that impact our local community, including grief, addiction, marriage, family of origin, and codependency.

In addition to these weekly groups, SCBC has annual events that feature topics and speakers who address relevant topics such as parenting, technology, our therapeutic culture, and others. These events are open to the public and serve the larger commuity of Northeast Georgia as we seek to create spaces where we can apply a Biblical worldview and promiote wisdom  as we wrestle with some of the most pressing issues of our culture.  

SCBC exists as a ministry of Christ Presbyterian Church and relies on the generosity of donors as well as the donations of individual clients to provide biblical counseling throughout Northeast Georgia. Our suggested donation for each session is $100.00. If you would like to provide a scholarship that would offset these costs for a person in crisis, please use the “Give Now” link above and select “The Counseling Fund” from the dropdown menu.
